You've probably seen Boogie on the site before, he made it on to our year end lists with his Thirst 48 mixtape, and we also did an introductory interview with him way back when. However, consider this the formal introduction, where you'll find out everything you need to know about Boogie from the man himself.
The Long Beach native made his way to New York recently (for the very first time), and visited our offices to do an On The Come Up video edition. The rapper speaks about first getting into music by joining (or being forced to join) a church choir, and then later taking his music to the streets. He also talks about his debut, Thirst 48, the thirstiness of our generation, his stand-out single "Bitter Raps," what's next for 2015 and more.
