Alex Wiley's June mixtape Village Party was one of our favorites of the summer, an inventive, sometimes goofy collection of stoned-and-zonked-out tracks. Today, one of its tracks, "Takeoff," gets a very fitting video. The song's guests, Kembe X and Hippie Sabotage, appear in it briefly.
A trippy video that overlays colorful scenes in front of the black room Wiley raps in, the "Takeoff" visuals even go as far to show Wiley quite literally taking off into space from a map of Chicago. his two collaborators appear as silhouettes projected on the cosmos.
