Since his song "Hot Nigga" and the ensuing "Shmoney Dance" GIF went viral, Bobby Shmurda has been doing all the classic rites of passage for NYC rappers. Earlier this week, he stopped by Power 105.1 to sit in on The Breakfast Club, and this morning he was at rival station Hot 97 to chat with Ebro and Co.
The young duo discuss (obviously) their recent succes, but also the myth of the South/North divide and the actual mechanics of the Shmoney Dance. Shmurda and Rebbel impress Rosenberg by saying they're focused on the music, but he and Ebro still seem to have difficulty co-signing the group due to their gun talk and drug references.
