It took 10 years, but Rick Ross' debut album Port of Miami has finally been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Port of Miami turned 10 years old this past Monday. It was formally certified platinum the last week of July. Rozay and his fam turned up last night in Miami to celebrate the occasion. On August 29, he will perform a special Port of Miami concert literally at the Port of Miami.

Another new memeber of the platinum club: Trey Songz, who's 2010 album Passion, Pain, & Pleasure reached the million-album mark on July 27th. Interestingly enough, it was the fourth Trey Songz album to be certified gold or platinum that month. His 2012 album Chapter V was certified gold that same day, his 2007 album Trey Day had been certified gold the week before, and his 2014 album Trigga was certified platinum two weeks before that

Congrats to Rozay and Trey Songz on the accomplishment!
