Drake helps make Giggs' set lit.

Born in London, U.K. native Giggs had himself quite the special weekend, making his debut appearance on the Main Stage at the prestigious Reading Festival earlier today (August 27th). The grime emcee powered through a set list full of bangers, setting up the audience for an unbelievable concert experience. In fact, the festival spot was made even more memorable by the fact that the Brit brought a very distinguished hip-hop icon out on stage to join him during his time slot - none other than Canada's golden boy when it comes to rap music, Drake.

First however, Giggs spoke from the heart about his history with festival bookings and others turning him down when he was still on the come-up. According to NME, Giggs admitted that "Reading’s the only festival that wanted to book me. They’ve always showed me mad love. I wanna bring one of my friends out. He’s travelled a long way." With that, the "One Dance" star appeared alongside the English rapper to a thunderous response. “Reading, I came all this way – seven hours – just to have this motherfucking party with you,” he proclaimed to the masses of adoring fans that were in attendance. “I want to see everybody go crazy, Reading.”

The pair then performed "KMT" together,a track that was originally featured on Drake's More Life album playlist. Giggs even restarted the track once the first playthrough was around half-done, saying: “This doesn’t happen every day. We’ve gotta do this right. We’ve gotta do this properly.”

“I wanna see the moshpit gang,” Drake added enthusiastically. “I wanna see all the circles right now.” The crowd obliged, raging as hard as we've seen any festival crowd go all summer long. Clad in a red October’s Very Own t-shirt, the Toronto rapper took a pause after the song was done playing and told the audience, from the heart: “Reading, I go by the name of Drake. I appreciate you, but today is not about me so please make some noise for this legendary god right here. He goes by the name of holler man Giggs.”
