Looks like Usher is back in the studio and preparing to dole out another installation of his “Confessions.”
Previously,Jermaine Dupri posted a few videos of the duo in the studio in Beverly Hills, and now may have dropped a hint of what exactly they’re cooking up.
In a series of recent Instagram posts, producer, songwriter, and So So Def label head Dupri has revealed that he and the R&B superstar have been hard at work in a private recording space in Hallandale Beach, California.
Also present were singer-songwriter Rico Love, and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox, who in tandem with Usher and Dupri, helped produce and pen the quintessential “Confessions Pt. II,” and “Burn” tracks on the singer’s Confessions album of 2004.
In one photo where Dupri is seen lounging on a couch beside Usher, he simply writes the cpation, “C 3,” hinting at the possibility of a follow up to "Confessions pt.II."
Judging by the additional posts, many are speculating that Usher may very well be readying for a full-length project. It would arrive on the heels of last year’s Hard II Love effort.
Most recently, Usher, born Usher Raymond, has been the subject of many headlines following after being faced with several civil suits in which 3 women and 1 man have accused the singer of coming into sexual contact with them without informing them of an alleged STD.
Celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom (see Bill Cosby, Bill O’Reilly, and the Black Chyna & Rob Kardashian fiasco) currently represents one of the accusers, Quantasia Sharpton, who has alleged that Usher never informed her of a Herpes infection before taking part in sexual activities while Usher maintains that they never even slept together to begin with.
Reports currently allege that the singer-songwriter and dancer will not be looking to settle any of the lawsuits, and may even be pursuing countersuits for defamation. If, in fact, Usher doesn’t budge under the pressure, these cases could very see no end for a while until the truth is uncovered.
As for Ursher Baby, he’s kept silent in the midst of allegations, displaying the ultimate poker face as headlines continue to fly, and apparently, choosing to focus on the music instead.
