It is a well-known fact that Curren$y's drug choice of is marijuana. He leaves the lean to the "lean professionals," like Lil Wayne. But sometimes, you drink lean by accident.
During his appearance on N.O.R.E.’s Drink Champs podcast, Curren$y told the story of the time of he accidentally drank way too much lean on Lil Wayne's tour bus.
As the story goes, Spitta was playing basketball outside Wayne's tour bus and desperately needed to quench his thirst. He ran onto the bus and pulled out a Hawaiian Punch from the fridge. Little did he know, Wayne had added cough syrup to the Hawaiian Punch bottles and then put them back in the 6-pack plastic ring, so they looked as if they had been untouched.
"I ran in basketball thirsty and downed one of them bitches, standing in the hallway of the bus just killing it," Curren$y said.
Wayne walked onto the bus and realized what had happened. “Spitta…you probably about to die," he said.
Needless to say, Curren$y survived the incident. He passed out nearly immediately and woke up in Miami.
