Following the immense success of the New Edition biopic on BET, TV One is apparently working on a fictionalized account of Bobbi Kristina's life -- Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter. Celebrity gossip website The Jasmine Brand reports that Bobby is quite upset that the producers failed to ask his permission.
The production has already attracted big names for their TV series. Sources say Vivica A. Fox is in the running to play Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina's aunt who worked closely with Whitney Houston before she deceased. According to the gossip site, Demetria McKinney expressed interest in playing Whitney herself.
The New Edition Story was so successful that the group has charted on Billboard again. Reaching number 37, the vocal group’s hits compilation All the Number Ones, released in 2000, returned to the top 40 of the Billboard 200. The last time New Edition in the top 40 was back in 2004 with One Love.
