In 2015, the big bucks come from touring. Just ask Katy Perry, who grossed over $2 million per show during her Prismatic World Tour. With $135 million earned in 2015, she is the year's highest-paid musician and the highest-paid celebrity of anyone not named Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao.
Forbes released their annual list of highest-paid musicians, and as one might expect, pop stars took the top several slots. Jay Z and Beyonce together grossed over $100 million in total from their "On the Run" tour. Despite his purchase of TIDAL, Jay Z's diverse business endeavors earned him $56 million this year.
