Kanye West received the MTV Video Vanguard Award at last night's VMAs and naturally he couldn't give an acceptance speech like a normal person. He announced his candidacy for the United States presidency, dissed MTV, and went 10-minutes over his allotted speaking time, but MTV is reportedly interested in bringing him back next year to host the 2016 VMAs.
According to TMZ, Kanye's diatribe overjoyed the MTV execs and they caught up with him in his dressing room afterward to congratulate him for his inspired performance. The possibility of him hosting next year's ceremony is reportedly "on the table." He couldn't possibly do a worse job than Miley Cyrus.
