Fox drama "Empire" was aiming big for this next season, looking to get Eminem and Oprah on the show, but even if that doesn't pan out, they'll still have quite a stacked cast. In the past few weeks, they've announced that Chris Rock, Common, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock and Marisa Tomei will show up for Season 2, and now the most recent addition is Kelly Rowland. She should fit right in, seeing as she's had to deal with the ins and outs of the industry since her childhood.
E! News reports that she'll play Lucious Lyon (Terrance Howard)'s mother in a flashback scene. Lyon was shown in flashback scenes quite frequently in Season 1, but it looks like we'll be going even further back, all the way to his childhood, this time.
