Future was reportedly considering countersuing Ciara after she sued him for slander and libel in February. Two months later, it appears that he is following through with the countersuit.
According to TMZ, Future is suing Ciara for "bad mouthing him," which may be construed as slander and libel, and to cover the legal fees he is amassing fighting her lawsuit. While the details of the reported countersuit are sparse, TMZ describes his argument like this: "he couldn't possibly have damaged her rep, since she's currently lacking one."
Ciara's lawsuit stemmed in part from a series of tweets Future sent out in January regarding their custody battle. "This bitch got control problems," he wrote. "I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that's all."
