Young Thug has never been shy about his support of and respect for the Gucci Mane, often starting "#FreeGuwop!" chants at his shows and such.
Well he just took his support to a whole new level by getting an ice cream cone tattoo on his face nearly identical to the ice cream cone tatted on Gucci Mane's face. The main difference: Thug's got his on the left cheek, Gucci on the right.
Is there anything Young Thug loves more than paying tribute to his role models? First there was the whole Barter VI saga and then he recently announced that his next mixtape would be entitled Tha Carter V.
He shared the images on IG today along with the captions, "#FreeGuwop I LOVE AND MISS U!!” and, “#FreeGuwop I REALLY LOVE AND MISS U…..!”

UPDATE, 06/01/15 12:24AM: The FADER postulates that Young Thug picked up an ice cream cone temporary tattoo at an Atlanta pop-up photography exhibit on Saturday. An interesting theory. Soon enough the truth will reveal itself.
