Eminem Holding "The Marshall Mathers LP" Listening Party To Celebrate 20th Anniversary

Eminem announced a special listening party in honour of the 20th anniversary of "The Marshall Mathers LP," along with some more surprises.

Eminem's third studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP, turned 20 on Saturday, May 23rd, and to celebrate, the hip hop heavyweight has blessed his fans with a ton of exciting surprises, including a listening party taking place next week. Em announced the special event on Twitter, quoting a lyric from one of the album's tracks, "I'm Back," along with a visual set to "The Way I Am."

"'I used to give a fuck / now I could give a fuck less,'" he wrote. "Stan drop, Listening party and I got a new number. Hit the site for more info on the 20th Anniversary of The Marshall Mathers LP.”

He included a link to his website, where fans are instructed to text "Eminem's number,"  (313) 666-7440, to get first access to "MMLP20 music and anniversary collections later this year" as well as a limited MMLP2O "Stan" varsity hoodie, dropping next week. The website also informs fans that the listening party will be taking place next Wednesday (May 27th), although an exact time has not yet been specified. Em will be answering fan questions from the live chat of the stream, which appears to be taking place via Spotify.

Em has also released newly remastered music videos from the MMLP era, including "The Real Slim Shady," and "The Way I Am," as well as both the short and extended versions of "Stan."
