50 Cent plans to shed light on the systemic injustices in the second season of "For Life."

50 Cent was once the biggest rapper in the world but these days, he's aiming to be one of the most powerful executives in Hollywood. Following the success of Power, he announced that he had patterned with ABC for the adaptation of Isaac Wright Jr.'s story, For Life. As the first season gained steam throughout the winter-spring, Deadline reports that the show has been renewed for a second season.

For Life is a family and legal drama following Aaron Wallace who's attempting to overturn a life sentence for a wrongful conviction. It's loosely based on the life of Isaac Wright Jr., though the story is timely in these current times. 50 Cent hit the 'Gram to celebrate the news by vowing to bring these important stories to the bring screen.
