Lil Baby continues to impress as the game's top hitmaker, securing the most RIAA certifications in the year's first quarter.

When thinking about the game's biggest superstars, it's high time to start throwing Lil Baby's name into the pile. Not only is the Quality Control rapper consistently dropping off quality music, but he's also proving to have some serious commercial power. In fact, Lil Baby's My Turn is easily one of the biggest albums to have dropped this year, spawning singles like "Emotionally Scarred," "Woah," and Sum 2 Prove." Now, Lil Baby is being rewarded for his efforts with another major milestone, one that will look quite nice on his resume.

According to a new report, Baby secured the most RIAA certifications across the months of January, February, and March, with a staggering twenty-two total gold and platinum plaques earned. While some came by way of features, a large number were solo tracks, a testament to his skill as a lead artist. Not to mention that some of the plaques came from earlier releases, which bodes well for the melodic rapper's longevity.

Baby himself took to Instagram to flex the victory. "Low Key Ain’t None To Play With !" he boasts. "My Fans Ain’t Either." He also provided an official statement, thanking those within his camp and the listeners that helped elevate him to begin with. "Thank you very much to my QC team / Wolfpack / 4PF, UMPG, my family, friends and all my fans for keeping me going to write these hits," he writes. And who knows, perhaps by year's end he'll have widened the gap even more significantly -- is it fair to call Lil Baby the biggest hitmaker in the game at the moment?
