Hearing the intro to Meek Mill's debut album, Dreams & Nightmares for the first time was a truly exhilarating experience. What begins as a reflective, piano-laden number suddenly transforms into a menacing trap anthem-- coupled with some of Meek's best rapping, the song definitely left an impression.
Drake was not excluded from the experience, tweeting early this morning that intro is "really one of the best rap moments of our generation..."
With Meek preparing his sophomore record, we'll have to wait and see if he can match the blistering intensity on his new album's intro.
The upcoming project, titled Dreams Worth More Than Money is due out this summer.
