2 Chainz already told us he was working on his next album, which continues the B.O.A.T. theme with a title of B.O.A.T.S. 3. However, before that time comes (we've yet to receive any concrete updates on it), we'll be receiving an EP to hold us over.
In a new trailer released today, Tity Boi announced the EP titled Freebase, which will consist of five new records. The EP is scheduled for a release on May 5th, and we've got the cover artwork for you to view in the gallery above.
The Hair Weave Killa says of the forthcoming extended play, "It has been a minute since the release of my album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time and I wanted to give something special to my fans while I record my follow up album. This is a taste of what is to come, and is most importantly, for them."
