French producer/DJ Brodinski has been making inventive club music for years, always keeping hip-hop as a crucial part of his musical lexicon. For his next mixtape, The Sour Patch Kid -- released via his own Bromance Records imprint, his focus is on the dark and enveloping world of Atlanta trap. After dropping tracks with the likes of Yung Booke, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, and Johnny Cinco, the Parisian maestro is back with the most ruthless trapper of them all: 21 Savage. Their new collab, "No Target," is delightfully evil.

Using a mix of delicate chimes and dark, brooding percussion, Brodinski builds an aura around 21 that's both menacing and mystical. This sounds like the opening theme to the next great serial killer epic: "The Slaughter King." Before that, "No Target" will be a standout on The Sour Patch Kid, which drops next Monday, Sept. 12.

Brodinski will tour across America upon the release of The Sour Patch Kid. Check dates below.
