New footage obtained by TMZ depicts what appears to be an altercation between Solange Knowles (sister of Beyonce), and Jay Z.
Their identities have not been confirmed, and the picture is fairly grainy, but judging by the outfits the musicians wore that night it appears that it is in fact Jay Z, Beyonce, and Solange seen in the clip.
The video shows Solange, who is visibly upset with Jay, screaming at him before hitinng him a few times, and later kicking him, while someone who appears to be a security guard holds her back.
Jay Z does not retaliate in any way, only grabbing her foot once in order to stop her from kicking him.
So far there is no word on what could have sparked the outburst.
Worth noting is the fact that the security guard hits the emergency stop button at one point, presumably to keep anyone from seeing what was going on. Hov was later walked to a different car than Solange and Beyonce when the trio left the building.

TMZ has released footage of the full elevator incident, which you can watch below. The Standard Hotel in NYC, where the incident took place, has also issued a statement concerning the leak of the footage to Complex. Read that below.
