Inmates are told to just play along.

Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to ten years in prison back in September after being convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. Sources are now telling Radar Online that Bill is portraying his famed Cosby Show character Dr. Cliff Huxtable and is apparently pretending to treat patients.

He "believes he learned a lot about how to cure people and speak to patients after playing Dr. Huxtable for nearly eight years on The Cosby Show,” the source explained. “He is accepting appointments from inmates to help diagnose anything from a cold to obesity. If he thinks they’re incurable, he refers them to the infirmary with a ‘preliminary diagnosis.’”

Apparently, Bill wears a bed sheet like an apron to make his character seem that much more real. Bill's publicist, Andrew Wyatt, told the publication that the disgraced actor does have "regular and in-depth discussions about getting better nutrition for the residents … getting them on natural supplements because residents and officers have major health problems.”

Other inmates have been told to play along with Bill detailing how he's old and the prison staff just want "no problems."

“The prison does not intend on moving him, so we just play along to make him feel better!"
