Hip-Hop's Power Couples

It's that time of the year again - Valentine's Day! The romantic holiday is upon us and we thought we'd share some of the love in the hip-hop community. Love and hip-hop doesn't have to be synonymous with ratchet behavior and baby daddy / momma drama, although you may be under a different impression if you've ever watched a full episode of VH1's Love & Hip-Hop.

Instead of focusing on the drama and nonsense, we've compile a list of hip-hop's power couples, those who've display true love, loyalty and respect for each other. From the ultimate power couple that is Jay-Z and Beyonce to newfound love like that of A$AP Rocky and model Chanel Iman, there's never a dull moment when it comes to rap game relationships.

Often referred to as the King and Queen of hip-hop, this power couple has been going strong since their first duet, that being 2003's "03 Bonnie & Clyde". 

Another royal family of hip-hop, T.I. and Tiny have a love like no other. Tip has been in a relationship with former Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Cottle since 2001, the couple having been married in Miami Beach in July 2010. They have six kids together, and you can check out both their crazy antics and true love on the hit VH1 reality show "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle". 

Despite recent rumors surrounding their relationship, Ice-T definitely loves Coco. The couple were married in December 2001, renewing their wedding vows in June 2011 in celebration of their 10-year wedding anniversary.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose began dating in 2011, got engaged a year later and married a year after that. In 2013, the couple had their first child, a son by the name of Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.

Pharrell Williams married his longtime girlfriend, model and designer Helen Lasichanh, in October 2013. They have a son, Rocket Man Williams, born in November 2008. Although their relationship is often kept under wraps, when you do see them out and about the abundant love between them is beyond evident. 

Kanye and Kim found each other after a slew of exes, and it certainly seems like true love to us. Since 2012, the couple has been going strong - as most of you know, they have an infant daughter, North "Nori" West, who was born in June 2013, the same year the couple got engaged.

Tyga and Blacc Chyna met in October 2011 at the F.A.M.E. tour after party with Chris Brown. Immediately afterward, Chyna become Tyga's leading lady in the video for his hit single "Rack City". In March 2012, they posed for the cover of Urban Ink Magazine, which was around the same time rumors of Chyna's pregnancy surfaced. Those rumors were proven true in October 2012 when they had their son, King Cairo Stevenson. In December 2012, the couple revealed their engagement. 

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have been together since 2009. In 2010, the couple revealed that they were engaged and Keys was pregnant. July 2010 say the couple married on the French island of Corsica.

This power couple is one for the ages! The two have been together since 1997, and together have two children, Jaden Christopher Syre and Willow Camille Reign. Even with all the rumors of cheating, differences and an open marriage, the couple has remained as strong as ever throughout the years. 

Although the relationship is definitely moving fast, this couple seems like they are truly in love. They announced their relationship in Early 2013, an their engagement shortly afterward. Early last month, it was revealed that Ciara was pregnant, thus sealing the deal.

Nelly and Ashanti have had a complicated, on again, off again relationship since 2003. Although the couple broke up in late 2012, it appears they are giving it another go this year. 

After Cassie's break up with producer Ryan Leslie, she and Diddy started dating. They've since been sharing pictures of intimate moments via social media, and there are even rumors the two are engaged and ready to tie the knot.

Big Sean dated his high school girlfriend until 2013, at which point they broke up and he began dating Glee star Naya Rivera. They met on Twitter and their relationship became public in April 2013. They've been going strong ever since, haivng announced their engagement in October of 2013.

Stars of VH1's Love & Hip-Hop New York, Jim Jones and Chrissy are mostly known for drama, but they clearly has a lot of love for each other all the same.

Snoop and Shante were high school sweethearts, and were married in 1997. Unfortunately, they divorced in 2004 for irreconcilable differences, however love eventually brought them back together - they renewed their wedding vows in January 2008.

When the news that Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were a couple came to light, it seemed unreal. But after seeing these two in the limelight, we can tell there is real love between them. They were married in April 2008, had twins in April 2011 and lived out a fairy-tale "fantasy" wedding at the Disneyland Resort for their fifth wedding anniversary last year. 

Described as the new Bonnie and Clyde, Cam'ron and Juju are inseparable - just check out both their Instagram accounts.

After four years of dating, John Legend became engaged to model Chrissy Teigen in December of 2011. They later married in Como, Italy on September 14, 2013. Perhaps there are kids in the couples' near future?

When Miguel first got his big break, nobody knew he was dating, but his relationship with model Nazanin Mandi was eventually revealed. Mandi and Miguel have been going strong for quite some time now.

It's a new love, but it seems real. Since early 2013, A$AP and Chanel have been spotted together everywhere, from red carpet events to fashion shows. They seem inseparable and happy at the moment.
