The MCU's landscape has shifted drastically in the wake of Avengers: Endgame, so tread lightly should you be avoiding SPOILERS. Given that the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home takes place directly following the events of Endgame, it stands to reason that the climactic Avengers chapter will be covered. Now, with the film set to arrive in a few months time, the cast of Far From Home took some time to chop it up with Jimmy Kimmel, including Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal, Colbie Smulders, and Jacob Batalon.

As the wild round of applause finally tapers off, Kimmel wastes little time in getting to it, congratulating the cast on the trailer-seen-round-the-world. Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, reveals that he was actually meant to upload the trailer in the first place, a task that he happened to forget completely. "I woke up in the morning, we were supposed to post it at 6AM," he reflects. "I started scrolling and I see the trailer and I panic." He explains that he attempted to download the trailer, and was forced to FaceTime Zendaya, who ably took charge - by sending Holland a how-to video.

The younger members of the cast proceed to ponder how their characters are still in high school to begin with, which Batalon dubs "the biggest plot hole of all time." As they delve deeper into Endgame spoiler territory, Holland reveals that during Endgame's closing funeral scene, he was actually told he was filming a wedding. "I showed up to the wedding, and I was like...where's Robert?!" While Jake doesn't really have a chance to offer a few words, his presence remains welcome nonetheless, adding nods of approval from time to time.
