The alleged attack that happened to Empire actor Jussie Smollett just keeps rounding up questionable tips surrounding the case. As we know, lots of people really think that the actor staged the incident, and told the two men to purchase the rope that was tied around his neck like a noose. Cardi b even spoke about the idea of it being fake saying she was "really disappointed."
The Associated Press now reports that Chicago police have received a tip from a person who lives in Jussie's building. The unknown individual says Jussie was seen in an elevator before the attack, with the two individuals that jumped him. Detectives have not confirmed the person's account and will do so after further interviewing and investigating.
"I feel like he fucked up Black History Month, bro. Like, damn," Cardi said further in her statement on Jussie.
"I'm not gonna say, yet. Until he say it out his mouth that it was fake and the shit was staged, I don't want to completely blame him, because somebody I was talking to they said police in Chicago are racists. So they might probably try to frame him and make him look like he's a liar. But if he's not, than bro you fucked up, for real. Like, why would you do that?"
