All Star AJ33 takes cues from the 1991 All Star uniforms.

The NBA's All Star break is just weeks away, which means that brands like Adidas, Nike and Jordan Brand will soon be rolling out special edition sneakers for the game's biggest stars.

Among the "All Star" sneakers slated to release between now and February 16 is a special edition Air Jordan 33 which pays tribute to the uniforms worn the last time the All Star Game was held in Charlotte back in 1991.

Inspired by the 1991 ASG uniforms, the kicks are built on a metallic silver colorway highlighted by hits of red and blue to match the trim on those throwback jerseys. Additional details include a crown and star logo behind each tongue, with Nike Air branding on the heel as always.

While the NBA All Star weekend doesn't kickoff until February 15, the "All Star" Air Jordan 33 is expected to launch this Thursday, January 24. The kicks will retail for $175.
