In response, the Academy attempted to force Hart into apologizing, which he refused to do. As a result, they dropped him as host, prompting mnay fans to voice their support of Hart's heart. Now, the comedian has officially launched "comeback season" with the announcement of his new Netflix special Irresponsible.

"Mark your Calendars for April 2nd," writes Hart, via Instagram. "My "Irresponsible" comedy special will be debuting on Netflix. I am beyond excited about this one." While it has yet to be confirmed, it's likely that Hart will acknowledge the infamous "OldTweetsGate," as well as his decision to depart from his Oscar gig. Of course, he's already explained his position via a series of interviews, but look for him to open up about the situation in a new, far more comedic light.
