Back in March, Conor McGregor became the topic of conversation once again as he was caught on camera in Miami smashing a phone out of the hands of a fan and then destroying it. At the time, many believed Conor had turned over a new leaf, although it was all for naught as McGregor was arrested and sued for battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

According to TMZ, McGregor and the alleged victim, Ahmed Abdirzak have now reached a settlement. Abdirzak was originally seeking $15,000 from McGregor, but new documents have been filed asking for the lawsuit to be closed. Abdirzak spoke to TMZ a couple of days after the incident and explained his experience.

Via TMZ Sports:

"As soon as he came to shake my hand, he pulled me in and he grabbed my phone and he started smashing it and all his security guards literally surrounded me, pushed me out the way, and he's stomping on it. [McGregor] was just like, 'Get the f--k out my face. Move,' and then I was like, 'Yo, sir, can I have my phone back?' There was a security in his entourage around him and I asked him if I could get my phone back and it was like, 'Yo, move, man. You better listen to what Conor says.' McGregor picked the phone up, put it in his pocket, laughed, and then he got in his SUV and they drove off. That's when the hotel manager come to me and said, 'Listen, I'll sort this out. Don't worry.'"

In the report, it states that McGregor can still face up to six years in jail if convicted for his role in the incident. The Irish UFC champion is due in court later this week.
