Klay Thompson #11 of the Golden State Warriors shoots a three pointer during the game against the Chicago Bulls on October 29, 2018 at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Steph Curry's record has been broken.

Who will step up to defeat the Splash Brothers? Klay Thompson and Steph Curry are set to complete the three-peat this year off the strength of their three-pointers. The Golden State Warriors faced off against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, and Thompson was in his zone. The 28-year-old athlete dropped an NBA record-breaking 14 three-pointers at the United Center, reminding everyone that he hasn't lost his shot.

As reported by ESPNCurry previously held the record for 13 three-pointers, so at the least title still remains on the same team. Thompson's shot was hot all game, but he completed the record while rocking a headband. The new look was implemented to help stop the bleeding to a cut Thompson received in the third quarter after colliding with Damian Jones. The cut required two stitches. After Thompson broke the record, he headed back to the locker room for medical attention before returning to the bench.

The Warriors also broke a record as a team, making 17 three-pointers in the first half. Thompson's 10 3-pointers in the first half tied Chandler Parsons' record which was set in 2014. He ended the night going 14-for-24 from three-point land, and 18-for-29 from the field. Thompson put up 52 points in 27 minutes.
