A new line of intimates was launched by Rihanna's Savage X Fenty ahead of Valentine's day. The themed collection created some buzz among the brand's admirers while stirring some discontentment with its plus-size customers. One social media user, in particular, made headlines with her critique that highlighted how Savage X might not be as inclusive as their brand had suggested.
Fashion blogger, Alysse Dalessandro, turned to Twitter to point out the discrepancy. "I understand construction cannot always be the same for plus size (especially in lingerie) but I know you can do strappy bralettes in plus so why do brands do this?" Other social media users chimed in, spotting the differences between the products as well as their presentation when targetted towards women who have bigger frames.

Ashleigh of AshleighChubbyBunny on Instagram has been vocal about the issue since the brand launched. "I've dealt with people trying to shut me up about it, trying to get me to 'wait until the next launch,' and accusing me of being jealous for not being recognized or supported by the brand in the way that others are," she stated. "Other brands that cater to plus-sizes have no problem creating the same, or even sexier, lingerie for plus-sizes."
