Surprise: LeBron James' biofilter isn't running out.

LeBron James' career arc continues to stupefy the scientific community, many thought he'd be on the decline by the age of 33, but stubbornly Bron has shown no sign of letting up. Even if his body begins to wear down, LeBron seems likely to make necessary adjustments to his games in order to sustain an NBA career at the highest level.

TMZ caught up with the one man in the scientific field of biogenetics who may have the answer: Neil deGrasse Tyson. His estimation is that while LeBron is still performing at peak levels, by (scientific) definition his career should come to an end within the next 5 years, at the age of 38 years old.

How did deGrasse Tyson substantiate his opinion? The answer lies in the ability to enable the talents of the players around him, a "skill-trade" LeBron has shown a willingness to explore in all his years as an NBA pivot.

Neil deGrasse Tyson believes that since LeBron is such a high IQ player, that as he grows old, so will the need to take unnecessary steps on the court. Energy conservation should afford LeBron the NBA shelf life he so desires, at least until his Los Angeles Lakers contract runs out. What do you think?
