JR Smith has never been known as the guy who follows the rules. He's gotten into his fair share of issues with the NBA, and it doesn't appear that his woes will cease anytime soon. Earlier this year, Smith modeled for the streetwear brand Supreme. The fashion brand posted a picture of Smith in what resembled a throwback NBA logo look, with each team's logo plastered on the apparel. His outfit actually brought me back to a Lloyd Bank's line off his debut album. Smith recently decided to take his love for Supreme to the next level by getting the brand's logo tattooed on his calf. Apparently, the NBA wasn't feeling this at all, prompting them to warn Smith that he would be fined for the new artwork. "So I was informed today that I would be fined every game if I don't cover up my 'SUPREME TATTOO' on my legs during games!!" wrote Smith on an Instagram story."These people in the league office are something else!"

NBA Insider Shams Charania took to Twitter to release a message from the NBA regarding the tattoo. "Statement from NBA spokesman on J.R. Smith/Supreme tattoo," he wrote. "'NBA rules prohibit players from displaying any commercial logos or corporate insignia on their body or in their hair.'"
