Kevin Gates just dropped his most recent mixtape, By Any Means, earlier in the week, and the project is just as consistent as his previous two releases, Luca Brasi, and Stranger Than Fiction.
The tape focuses more on Gates' ability to craft hard-hitting but catchy street music, but there's still a few moments of his hug-the-block, emotional gangtsa anthems.
"Movie" is one of those, documenting the birth of his child, and performed over one of the tape's more solemn instrumentals.
As much as his D-Boy, Jeezy-esque "Arm & Hammer" type tracks are right on the money, it's good to hear from the guy who openly admits to listening to Taylor Swift once again.
