The suspects in XXXTENTACION's murder case are fighting to prove their innocence. According to The Blast, one of the suspects is accusing the prosecutors on the case of not turning over all of the evidence in the case.
Michael Boatwright is demanding that the prosecutors on the case hand over all of the evidence in the case including the testimonies given by XXXTENTACION's baby mama and the late rapper's mother. He explains that the officers handed over 20 CDs which had documents pertaining to the case as well as items of evidence. However, he claims his lawyer reviewed the police reports which revealed there was more evidence that the officers didn't hand over to the prosecutors.
Boatwright's also demands that prosecutors hand over body-cam footage as well as other photos of evidence. Boatwright says police not only took statements from X's mother, Cleopatra Bernard, and the mother of his newborn child, Jenesis Sanchez but several others as well. He requests the statements from each witness are turned over.
Earlier this week, another suspect in the case, Dedrick Williams', was granted money for a forensic expert to help prove his innocence. Williams' was granted $15K for a forensic consultant who will be able to testify for him in court. $15K will be able to get him 100 hours of work from the expert.
