DJ Premier continues to provide the soul of the scene.

Hip-hop heads understand that DJ Premier is a legend in the streets. Having contributed music for damn near half the game, including legendary figures like Jay-Z, Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Royce Da 5'9", Guru, and many more. Despite being one of the most iconic OGs to ever grace the ones and twos, Primo has always kept his ear to the new generation, having worked with younger artists like Joey Bada$$ and Casanova. Today, he links up with three of the game's grimiest, tapping Griselda goons Benny, Conway, and Westside Gunn for a soulful, vintage-hip-hop banger.

The track, titled "Headlines," finds Primo conjuring up a cinematic string loop over boom-bap drums, as Conway navigates the instrumental with a laid-back, yet dexterous flow. In fact, more people oughta note Conway as having one of the nicest flows out there, effortless on beats and undoubtedly authentic. "This choppa smoke and it adios you, my buzz bicoastal, took the game over like I supposed to," he raps. "I'm in position you cannot get close to, I got shot in my throat, still got four classics at my disposal."

Check out "Headlines" now, available in select international markets - the track hits North America at midnight.

Quotable Lyrics

This choppa smoke and it adios you
My buzz bicoastal, took the game over like I supposed to
I'm in position you cannot get close to
I got shot in my throat, still got four classics at my disposal
