We're barely scratching the surface of 2019 and Tierra Whack's domination is in full effect. Fans are still waiting for her to announce her next project, that doesn't mean Whack doesn't have something cooking in the kitchen. Three weeks ago she dropped "Only Child" followed up by "CLONES," and now Whack is giving us "Gloria." The versatile artist also recently performed two of her tracks on Jimmy Kimmel Live!; the first being "Only Child" and the other "Hungry Hippo" from her acclaimed 15-minute visual album, Whack World. Jimmy Kimmel Live! marks the first live television performance for the Philly native who has been carving out her own path in hip hop.

In February Whack told Ebro of Beat 1 on Apple Music that "We gonna drop every week. Every week, man, dropping songs. Yes, new songs...Full songs, no 60 seconds."  Her eclectic style sets her apart from her peers, and Whack is never shy when it comes to experimenting with her artistry. "I actually can't pick a specific sound because I'm always just experimenting," Whack told Revolt TV last year. "It's all about a mood I'm in or an emotion, like me trying to express an emotion. Right now, I'm kind of relaxed, thinking."

Growing up in Philly has definitely influenced Whack's development. "Just having that rawness and being ready for any and everything," she continued. "I feel like Philly really builds you up for the real world. They say if you can survive and make it out of Philly, you can make it anywhere."
