Adidas Deerupt

Our best look yet at Gohan's Adidas Deerupt.

Adidas' seven-sneaker Dragon Ball Z collection is set to kick off this Saturday, September 29 with two sneakers inspired by Frieza and Goku. Adidas Originals will then shift its focus to the two sneakers releasing in October: a Cell-inspired Adidas Prophere, and the newly unveiled "Son Gohan" Adidas Deerupt.

As a nod to Gohan's gi, the Adidas Deerupt comes dressed in purple with yellow - representing the character's hair - making an appearance on the midsole, heel and stitching around the ankle. Beneath it all sits a gum outsole. A specific release date and pricing information has not yet been announced but the kicks are expected to launch alongside the "Cell" Adidas Prophere sometime in October.

It's unknown how many pairs of each Dragon Ball Z collab will release but rumors suggest they could be limited to just 1000 pairs each. All of the collabs will come in specially designed shoe boxes with an image of the character who inspires the design as well as the Adidas Originals logo in place of the star in Dragon Ball Z‘s orange circle motif.

Here's a rundown of when Adidas plans to drop every sneaker in Dragon Ball Z collection:

Adidas ZX 500 RM (Goku, September 29)

Adidas Yung 1 (Frieza, September 29)

Adidas Deerupt (Son Gohan, October)

Adidas Prophere (Cell, October)

Adidas Ultra Tech (Vegeta, November)

Adidas Kamanda (Majin Buu, November)

Adidas EQT Support Mid ADV Primeknit (Shenron, December)
