Aquaman looks like it may be the best film to come from the DCEU. DC Comics is in need of a hit movie, and they may get it. Director James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring, Furious 7) has put a colorful yet eerie vibe on everything we've seen so far. The 5-minute trailer that was released during New York Comic Con was epic, and showed the shift the Warner Bros. is making to rebuild their beaten down movie universe. The Get Down's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II looks menacing as Black Manta, and Amber Heard is absolutely gorgeous as Mera.

James Wan recently took to Twitter to release two new images from Aquaman, and this time King Orm and Vulko are the main attractions. Orm is Aquaman's sibling who is doomed to become Ocean Master, one of the hero's most deadly rivals. Willem Dafoe's Vulko is a main political figure and advisor in Atlantis. The photo shows both characters riding some type of underwater monster. Vulko sits calmly on a massive shark, while King Orm wields a trident and zooms in for the kill atop a crocodile looking creature.

Check out the photos below and catch Aquaman when it hits theaters on December 21.
