Nick Jonas, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, and Kevin Hart attend the premiere of Columbia Pictures' 'Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle' on December 11, 2017 in Hollywood, California.

Hart and Johnson will be back for a sequel.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are in everything. Every time you turn around these guys are starring in another film. Whether it be a film together, or one of their many solo ventures, Hart and Johnson are running the game. Last holiday season, the hilarious pair teamed up with Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Guardians of the Galaxy's Karen Gillan to bring the world a sequel to the 1995 Robin Williams classic Jumanji.

Jumanji was a big part of my childhood, so when I heard that they would be remaking yet another film, my frustrations were high. After finally watching the film months later, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the sequel was. Apparently, the world felt the same way. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle made $962 million worldwide, just shy of the billion-dollar mark. It successfully competed against Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and even stole the number one spot from the film after a month of sitting at number two behind the Lucasfilm sequel.

Johnson took to Instagram to announce the official release date for an untitled follow up to the surprise smash hit. "Officially planting our JUMANJI flag. On DECEMBER 13th, 2019 - the game is not over." The film will once again battle Star Wars at the box office, but this time it will have a week head start. "Once again, I get to slap @kevinhart4real’s lip’s into next week. The world is happy," he added.
