Tay-K finds himself wrapped up in another fatal shooting.

Texas rapper Tay-K is finding himself in even more legal trouble than he's already in, as he's just been named as the gunman in a wrongful death lawsuit, related to a shooting outside a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in San Antonio, Texas.

According to KSAT 12 News, the suit was filed by the mother of Mark Anthony Saldivar, a Texas photographer and the victim of the fatal shooting that took place in April, 2017. According to the suit, Saldivar was riding in a car with Tay-K and two others when he was robbed of his "expensive camera equipment," and thrown out of the car. In a last ditch effort to get his stuff back, Saldivar reportedly jumped onto the hood of the car. The car pulled into the Chick-Fil-A parking lot, which is when Tay-K allegedly pulled out a handgun to shoot and kill Saldivar.

When the shooting was reported at the time, police were not allowed to release details about the crime, as Tay-K was listed as a juvenile in the County system. Saldivar's mother is reportedly seeking damages of over $1 million for the death of her son.

Tay-K's come up as a rapper has always been inextricably linked with violent crime. His breakout hit, "The Race," famously showcased his wanted poster in the music video as he was on the run for robbery and murder charges from a separate incident in Fort Worth, Texas. He was since captured and has been reportedly held in the Tarrant County Jail. One of his alleged accomplices in that crime was recently sentenced to life in prison.
