Drink like the King in the North.

It may be another year before we get to watch the final season of Game of Thrones, but that doesn't mean we can't start the celebrations now. There sure is a great deal of wine drinking in Game of Thrones, and now, fans will be able to drink along with their favorite characters in style. As reported by TheFullPintBrewery Ommegang and HBO Licensing & Retail have teamed up to bring the world a Jon Snow themed beer. Dubbed "King in the North," the new beer is a barrel-aged imperial stout. Imperial stouts are usually dark in color and have a high ABV. A hint of coffee or cocoa flavor is usually attributed to stouts, although milk stouts, oatmeal stouts, porters, and a variety of other combinations may use other flavors.

The Jon Snow themed beer is the fourth and final beer in this year’s Royal Reserve Collection. The collection released four limited edition beers based on characters from Game of Thrones. King in the North will be released as a gift package that includes a 12-ounce bottle of each of the four Royal Reserve Collection beers, and a collectible Game of Thrones-themed glass. The gift package is suggested to retail for $24.99.
