Free ninety-nine is a great price.

Epic Games is looking out for their customers. The game developer has already come out to scold cheaters, while making it an important mission of theirs to ban anyone they believe is using some form of illegal advantage. Now, Epic Games is taking their security a step further. As announced on Fortnite's blog, the game developer is rewarding players for making their accounts a little more secure.

Gamers who go online and activate two-factor authentication will get the Boogiedown Emote for free. The way a two-factor authentication works is easy. Gamers will simply have to enter their regular password, which will then prompt them to enter a code (via email or an app). It works much like other high-security authentication, like when you forget the login for your bank account and need to receive a code on top of entering your password.

"Once you’ve opted into Two-Factor Authentication, you will be asked to enter the code from your preferred two-factor authentication method," states the announcement from Epic Games. "Then you will be signed into your account.  You will be prompted for the two-factor passcode the first time you sign in after enabling the feature, if you use a new device, if it’s been over 30 days since you last signed in or if you’ve cleared your browser cookies recently."
