Buddy-buddy a rare sight in Media-Athlete relations.

When Kevin Love went down in the first quarter of last night's Game 6, the Cavaliers rallied around their superstar producing a convincing victory with their season on the line. LeBron hit several clutch shots in the final moments of the game to help his team peel away. Much has been made said about LeBron late-game heroics, but the media hasn't always been this kind. In fact, LeBron has received his fair share of criticism in the past for either missing key shots or passing them up, when it counted most. One reporter from ESPN Brazil saw things a little differently, he and LeBron shared a bonding moment during the post-game presser.

The ESPN Brazil journalist insinuated LeBron had been a clutch shooter for "a long while." The heir apparent stretched the compliment all he could, stating "I appreciate you saying I’ve been clutch my whole career." LeBron then spent a minute recapping the tumultuous relationship he's had with sports media for years: "There’s not many like you, I tell you. Either you’re being very kind because it’s National Wine Day, or I love Brazil, or I don’t know what it is right now."

He'll have to resort to this placed confidence if the Cavaliers are to advance, potentially without Kevin Love in Game 7.
