G Herbo & Gunna creep on the come up.

Today, G Herbo came through with Still Swervin, a spiritual successor to last year's Swervo drop. Though the tape finds him once again reunited with producer Southside, Herbo slides through on a Wheezy banger for this go-around, enlisting Gunna for the cause. The instrumental itself is a masterclass in minimalism, with the harmony barely audible, thus conjuring a slightly discomforting aesthetic. The vibe is in keeping with Gunna's "Drip" philosophy, almost mirroring the sound of water.

In that sense, Gunna wastes little time in establishing himself on the track, bringing another dose of melodic vocals to the mix. While his subject matter has yet to branch out on a drastic level, his presence never feels abrasive, making him a consistently worthy supporting player. And though Blueface has been coming for the offbeat crown, lest we forget the offbeat OG G Herbo, who attacks the instrumental with a staccato burst of intensity. Check this one out now, and sure to catch that new Still Swervin project right here.

Quotable Lyrics

Yuh, pull up on Herbo, we coppin' this drip
VVS diamond my neck and my ear
Let these lil' n****s know that I can hear
Police want my prints like I'm walkin' through clear
Like magic, I'm makin' these dollars appear
Went through so much shit, I can't drop no more tears
