Safaree

Safaree speaks on two of hip-hop's leading ladies.

Safaree is not afraid of King Kong. The rapper recently sat down for a stop in Big Boy's neighborhood, where he proceeded to speak on a variety of topics. Naturally, his past relationship with Nicki Minaj has proven to hover over him. It's no wonder Big Boy picked his brain for his reactions on "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Tingz."

"That's not something I would listen to," says the rapper. "I'm just being honest, I'm not being a hater or nothing." He does, however, have some praise for Cardi B's Invasion Of Privacy, which he deems to be fire. "It's ill," says Safaree. "I knew it was going to be ill though, cause it looked like she took her time with it. I like a lot of the songs on it...People love her so much as a person, even if her music wasn't as good as it is, it would have still been like, bravo you did it. In this day and age, your personality is eighty percent of you being an artist."

When Big Boy asks if there's enough room in hip-hop for Nicki and Cardi, Safaree answers with the obvious. "Of course," he says. "Look how many dudes there is." Sound logic, to be fair. For more of Safaree's thoughts on this, as well as further insight into his leaked nudes and recent robbery, be sure to catch the clip in its entirety. For those with limited time, the Nicki and Cardi talk transpires around the fifteen minute mark.
