"it's just to let the people out in Pittsburgh know that I'm thinking about them, sending vibes."

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman donned a WBC Team Israel hat during his post-game interview last night, as he continues to show support for the city of Pittsburgh and the entire Jewish community in the aftermath of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting on Saturday, October 27. 11 people attending sabbath services were killed in the attack and at least six others were wounded in what's being referred to as the worst anti-Semitic attack in American history.

"You know, it's just to let the people out in Pittsburgh know that I'm thinking about them, sending vibes," said Edelman. "They're in our prayers. That was a big hit to our community and it's uncalled for. So, I just let them know I'm behind you, I'm supporting."

One day after the shooting, Edelman took to social media to express his sympathy with a message that reads, "My heart is broken for the families in Pittsburgh. It's hard to even imagine such senselessness. As a Jew, an American and a human, I'm devastated. We are with you, Pittsburgh."

Edelman, 32, did a little bit of everything on the field last night as well, finishing with six catches for 71 yards, two rushed for 28 yards and one completion that went 37 yards to James White. In fact, in a battle of Brady vs Rodgers, it was Edelman who had the best passer rating of 118.8.
