New England Patriots teammates Tom Brady and Julian Edelman were two of the many NFL stars on hand for the 2019 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night, as the rich and famous invaded the Big Apple. The athletes were joined at the event by a who's who of artists, actors and models, including Brady's wife Gisele Bundchen, and fellow Brazilian model, Fernanda Liz.
Edelman appeared to be getting particularly close with Fernanda after the Met Gala, as seen in the photos shared on Tuesday by TMZ Sports.

Liz, a 5'11 stunner who has been on the cover of Brazilian Vogue magazine and featured in numerous others, isn't in a serious relationship with the Super Bowl champ just yet. As TMZ notes, "Our model sources tell us ... the two are not in a serious relationship -- it's just casual at this point." Edelman, 32, previously dated Adriana Lima and he also has a daughter with Swedish model Ella Rose.
The Patriots will open up their 2019 regular season schedule at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, September 9, which will include a special ceremony in celebration of their Super Bowl LIII victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
