Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes will be epic together.

Netflix is on a roll, and it doesn't look like the streaming giant plans on slowing down anytime soon. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Eddie Murphy had teamed up with Netflix to bring the story of Rudy Ray Moore to life. The biopic will give audiences a glimpse into the life of the man who is considered the Grandfather of Rap. Rudy Ray Moore, who made a name as the animated pimp Dolemite, was a musician, actor, film producer, and comedian. While performing live, Moore would rhyme to bring his explicit stories to life, which is why many of his fans claim that he helped inspire what would become hip-hop a few years later.

According to The Hollywood ReporterWesley Snipes has signed on to star alongside Murphy in the biopic. He will play D'Urville Martin, the egotistical actor and alcoholic who directed Dolemite, Moore's breakout hit. Craig Robinson, Mike Epps, Tituss Burgess and Da'Vine Joy Randolph will also be featured in the film, which appears to have one of the funniest casts ever put together. Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan) will helm the project, and Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (American Crime Story: The People vs O.J. Simpson) penned the script.
