After everything, Birdman still has love for Lil Wayne.

As a crow caws at six AM, a bird has once again broken the silence. Cash Money mogul Birdman has taken to Instagram to praise his longtime associate Lil Wayne, with whom he has undergone a tumultuous journey. In the mid-nineties, Birdman discovered a prepubescent Wayne, who was then rapping as "Baby D." Seeing potential, Birdman took Wayne under his wing and helped launch his career as a Cash Money Millionaire. Despite a momentous run, circumstances eventually went left; "business" kept Wayne's Tha Carter V from seeing the light of day, and a recent leaked call seemed to incriminate Birdman in the shooting of Wayne's tour bus. Clearly, the relationship has seen better days, and neither party has officially addressed the situation.

Now, Birdman has decided to extend an olive branch. Taking to Instagram, the mogul shared a photo of a Tha Carter V billboard, alongside a celebratory caption. Citing Wayne's accolades, Birdman makes it clear he still views Weezy as an integral member of the Cash Money Family, despite having parted ways with the label earlier this year. "Livin legend," he writes, alongside a goat emoji. "Cashmoney where dreamskme thru Lifestyle. #kingofhiphop."

It's hard to tell whether Birdman's motives are sincere or not, given the recent revelations. Still, it's interesting to see him continue to represent for Team Weezy in the public eye. Read our Tha Carter V review here.
