In celebration of Air Max day today, March 26, Nike released the much anticipated Sean Wotherspoon x Air Max 97/1 hybrid, a sneaker that sold out in seconds when it initially dropped in limited quantities last year. The colorful kicks, which sport a retro color palette, corduroy material and that iconic bubble, are just one of the many Air Maxes that have a tremendous resale value, according to the GOAT App.
GOAT, the leading digital sneaker marketplace, has compiled data based on Air Max purchases on their platform, revealing exactly which Air Max styles are the most coveted on the secondary market, including the Sean Wotherspoon collab. Not only are the Air Max sneakers on this list selling for hundreds of dollars more than they retailed for but they're also in high demand, making them among the most valuable Air Maxes for any sneaker collector.

The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1 only released today but the prices are already skyrocketing on the secondary market. According to GOAT App, the kicks are selling for $300 more than the retail price, with some pairs going for as much as $850.
OFF-WHITE x Air Max 90 Ice
Retail Price: $160
Resale Value: $800+
Like many of the Off-White x Nike collabs that dropped in 2017, the Air Max 90 Ice is an extremely valuable shoe if you're looking to resell. Select sizes of the $160 kicks are going for more than $1,000 on the Goat App, with an average resale price of nearly $900.
OFF-WHITE x Air Max 97

The Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 is another one of Virgil Abloh's sneaker collabs that can be flipped for more than four times the retail price. Similar to the Air Max 90s, it's not uncommon to these kicks being resold for more than $800, with select sizes going for upwards of $1,000.
Atmos x Air Max 1 'Elephant' 2017

The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 "Elephant Print" was among the most popular Air Max releases leading up to Air Max Day last year, and the kicks are just as valuable on the secondary market one year later. Men's sizes of this eye-catching Air Max 1 collab range in price from $475 all the way up to $850, which is a nice return on a $150 investment.
Supreme x Air Max 98 'Snakeskin'

Resale Value: $800+
Out of the four Supreme x Nike Air Max 98s that dropped in 2016, the "Snakeskin" rendition is far and away the most valuable. The market for the $175 snakeskin sneakers ranges from $800-$2000, as opposed to other colorways like the blue pair that can be yours for a mere $470.
Undefeated x Air Max 97 "Olive"

The "Olive" colorway of the Undefeated x Air Max 97 is a kin to the "Snakeskin" version of the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 in terms of how valuable they are. Undefeated released a trio of Air Max 97s collabs last year but the Olive rendition dropped exclusively at Complex Con and as a result, it is far more valuable than the black and white colorways.
While the other two can be had for something in the $400 range, this olive joint isn't selling for anything under $1100.
Off-White x Nike Air Vapormax

Arguably the most popular sneaker of Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" Collection, the Off-White x Nike Air Vapormax hovers around the $1000 range on the secondary market. According to the GOAT App, a size 11.5 is being sold for over $1,200 while a 12.5 is listed at $2,095.
There are reportedly two new Off-White x Nike Air Vapormax colorways releasing later this year and if these prices are any indication, it would be wise to try and get your hands on a pair.
