Drake and Travis lit up the stage while in Scott's hometown

Travis Scott has expressed time and time again how proud he is of his Houston, Texas roots. The city boasts a number of successful artists such as Beyonce, her sister Solange, and Chamillionaire. Back in 2012, Travis spoke to Complex about growing up in the city saying, "It gave me my edge—[it made me] who I am right now." It seems only fitting that Drake brought out Travis during a recent tour stop in the city.

Much to the delight of the unsuspecting crowd, Travis dropped in to perform his verse on the hit song "Sicko Mode." The energy he brought to the crowd was indelible and immediately matched. Clad in a James Harden Houston Rockets jersey, Travis instructed "Houston, make some noise. Everybody, two hands up." He and Drizzy proceeded to light up the stage.

During the concert, Drake set aside a moment to pay tribute to a fan who could not be in attendance. Sabrina Herrera, a 19-year-old Missouri city teen was murdered by her boyfriend before attending the show. "So look, tonight, I just want to start the show a little different," he shared. "It's a young girl by the name of Sabrina Herrera, and she was supposed to be at the show tonight. She had saved her money, she had gotten tickets, she had bought an outfit," he continued.
